Our medical centre in North Parramatta currently has five doctors providing family medical services.

Dr Hani Tawk (MB BS, MM (STDs/HIV), PhD (Syd Uni), FRACGP )

Dr Tawk holds a European Medical Degree, migrated to Australia in 1999 and since then he further his knowledge and medical training In Sexually Transmitted Diseases and HIV by completing years of training in the area and a Master in Medicine Degree from the University of Sydney with many publications in this areas.

Dr Peter Gilbertson (MBBS BSc [Med] Synd Univ)

Dr Peter GilbertsonDr Peter Gilbertson holds a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery attained at the University of Sydney. A fellow of the RACGP, he also holds a Bachelor of Science (Medical Science) and has published research in the area of immunology. Dr Gilbertson particularly enjoys assisting patients through a multidisciplinary approach, combining western medicine with allied health, complementary medicines and physical/psychological therapies.

Dr Roberta Leary (MB. BSc. Hons)

Dr Roberta Leary

Dr Roberta Leary, holds a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery attained at The University of Sydney. A fellow of the RACGP, Dr Leary’s special interests lie in mental health, nutrition, complementary medicine, and hormonal health. She particularly enjoys fostering robust doctor/patient relationships, and investigating and resolving long standing health issues.



Dr Bijal Ghelani (MBBS GDPH FRACGP)

Dr Bijal Ghelani, holds a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery attained at the University of Mumbai and is a fellow of the RACGP. She also holds additional qualifications in children’s health, and sexual and reproductive health. Dr Ghelani’s special interests lie in chronic disease management, women’s health and mental health. Dr Ghelani’s particularly enjoys the diverse nature of general practice, and fostering robust relationships with families.
